One other spring/summer trend seen on the 2011 catwalks is 'nude', which symbolizes the absence of clothes during hot seasons. Even though this trend isn't as hot as the bright colour trend, do try to buy yourself a tight fitting nude dress (like the one shown below), it will go perfect with a bit of a tan!

One tip for this spring/summer season: try to restrain yourself from buying the usual black or grey clothes, I know it will be hard! Believe me, I'm guilty of always going for the black clothes that I will feel comfortable in. But this summer this is going to change! I have banned myself from buying anything black or grey so that my closet will get a little bit of a colour injection. I encourage you to do the same! you will look so much happier if you're wearing colourful outfits compared to wearing all-black.

One of the popular spring/summer trends that continues to repeat itself on the catwalks of Chloe, Givenchy, Valentino, Hermes, Viktor & Rolf  and Dolce & Gabbana etc is 'all white' In the past I always referred to this look as a BIG no-go, but it is starting to get to me. The all-white look gives a very fresh and clean appearance which suits perfectly with the new season!

PS: I was meant to take the blue nail varnish off for this look, but I was too lazy! Sorry next time I’m wearing a different colour!
